Q: Why couldn't I do all this myself?
A: You could, however, you should take into consideration the number of hours required to complete ancestry research and organize your travel arrangements. We will take care of all the research and logistics for you, from start to finish.
Typical research and planning takes between 75-100+ hours, much of this time is spent ordering and searching through censuses, birth/death certificates & marriage records to identify and verify your ancestors. Most people also underestimate the amount of time necessary to familiarize themselves with the smaller, rural English locations they uncover; find the best things to do in each area; research and book all the accommodations for the itinerary; research flights, insurance, meals & attractions; and finally, figure out how the whole family is going to get from point-to-point while traveling.

Q: How do I start the process?
A: Complete the brief Free Consultation Form and we will contact you to discuss your personalized Ancestry package (with absolutely no obligation). When you are ready to proceed with the research &/or vacation planning, contact us via phone or email and we will start our research straight away.
Q: I have an English great grandfather, what can I expect you to find?
A: You'd be amazed! Even with knowledge of only one English relative, we can usually trace 20-30 ancestors, going back to the early Victorian era.
Don't forget, generally speaking, everyone starts with 2 parents, 4 grandparents, 8 great grandparents, 16 great-great grandparents and so on...so there may be many more ancestors out there than you realize!
Q: How is the personalized itinerary created?
A: Once we have conducted your ancestry research, we will present you with a personalized dossier. This will include your preliminary day-by-day itinerary, options for activities/attractions and a variety of other choices which we will discuss with you.
With your input, we will finalize an itinerary and provide a final cost based on your preferred dates & the number of family members traveling.
Q: Do I have to book a family tour with my Ancestry research?
A: It's more cost effective to buy the package of research + vacation together, however if you only want your ancestry researched, we can arrange it. Likewise, if you have already researched your ancestry and would like a personalized vacation created for you, contact us - we will take care of you.
Q: What if I have already researched my ancestry and just want help with travel arrangements to visit the towns and villages of my ancestors?
A: We will happily work with you to create a personalized itinerary, based on your own ancestry research, and then organize all the logistics for you.
